Our story
Why we exist
W Spa opened in downtown Palo Alto with a straightforward purpose: to offer high-quality massage in a calm, unhurried environment. No upsells, no pressure — just skilled work and a space that lets you actually relax.
We are at 441 Waverley Street, half a block off University Avenue. We are open every day from 9:30 AM to 10 PM, because good massage should be available when you actually need it — not just on weekday afternoons.
Every price is published before you book. Every session is tailored to what you ask for. That is the whole model.

What we believe about massage
Pressure is personal
There is no correct pressure. Tell your therapist what you want at the start, and say so mid-session if it should change. A good therapist adjusts — that is the job.
Transparency before you book
Every service has a published price for every duration. You should know what you are paying before you walk in, not after.
Open late, every day
Most people cannot get to a spa at 2 PM on a Tuesday. We are open until 10 PM on the same schedule all seven days, so an evening or weekend session is always an option.
Focused on massage
We do massage well. We offer eight services and three add-ons, and we do not try to be everything. A focused menu means every therapist knows every service deeply.
Our team
Licensed therapists, every session
Every session at W Spa is performed by a licensed massage therapist. Our team is trained across all eight services on the menu — Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, four hands, aromatherapy, scalp, lymphatic drainage, and the 90-minute combo. Before your session, tell your therapist where you carry tension, any injuries or sensitivities, and how firm you want the work. They will adjust throughout.

Half a block south of University Avenue. Free street parking directly outside and on the surrounding streets — check posted signs for time limits. The Palo Alto Caltrain station is roughly a 10-minute walk along University Avenue.
